Ingredients

  • 2 15 oz. cans of cannellini beans, ½ cup of liquid reserved 

  • 8 cloves garlic, skin removed

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil, and additional to pour on top

  • 1 tablespoon harissa powder

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Put garlic cloves on a small square of aluminum foil. Drizzle with olive oil and fold into a pouch. Place the garlic pouch on a baking sheet and cook for 40 minutes. Wait for garlic to roast.

  2. When garlic is roasted, put beans, roasted garlic, olive oil, harissa powder, salt, chili flakes into a food processor and blend until smooth. 

  3. Blend in reserved liquid from the beans 1 tablespoon at a time until the dip is smooth and creamy 

  4. Transfer to a bowl and top with additional chili flakes and a drizzle of olive oil. Serve with crackers, pretzel chips, or veggies!
